Janice Uwujaren was born in Harlem, New York. A few years later, she moved to the populous African country of Nigeria, where she was raised until the age of 11. Then her father received employment with The World Bank and her family relocated to Burke, Virginia for most of her teenage years. She now resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
For leisure, she loves reading, writing, poetry, literature, dancing, and walking to the park. If you don’t like Country Music, you don’t want to drive in the same car with her, because that is all you will hear bellowing from the speakers in her automobile (except for the occasional show tune).
Her life’s philosophy: “Age is just a state of mind. You are only old if you feel that way. Nobody grows old by merely living a number of years. People grow old only by deserting their ideals.” – James E. Faust
Some of her favorite quotes are:
“Goals are dreams with deadlines.” – Diana Scharf
“Nobody is ever granted universal acceptance.” – Randy Mitchell,
“True love cannot be where it does not exist, and cannot be hidden where it does.” – Kissing a Fool
